Charlie and I stopped on New Castle Road to wait for Jason to come down the road. As he passed, Jason mentioned that he could go for a New Castle.
There's a whole bunch of them waiting for you in Bentonville, honey!

Ah, but the question is...would Jason choose New Castle over Smithwick's??????
ReplyDeleteMoooooooose
I think he'd take even a PBR right about now.
ReplyDeleteOver half way............that's great! Just think about how many beers you can drink without having to justify the calories. Hang in there !!!
ReplyDeleteHow about a taste of the Lou? hehe
ReplyDeleteHow about a large pizza, delivered roadside? You guys need to try this at some point during the trek to see if you can get as lucky as Dean. Don't forget dessert!
ReplyDeleteJason - I was running yesterday and joined-up with an elderly man in his late 70s. We ran along for awhile and then suddenly he was gone. I turned around to look for the man and found him about a block down the road waiting on a funeral procession. When I ask the man why he stopped he said, "It was the least I could do, we were only married for 53 years."
Never miss a run! You're still looking strong, just keep taking it one day at a time.
Roger
I'm with Lauren, any beer would do! Roger, I think this is such a good idea (the pizza on the run), that I just might try it.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a nice "tip of the cap" to Dean, who's been nothing less than unbelievably helpful in organizing the donations through MO-AR TREK for Girls on the Run Missouri.
Thanks for the joke too, keep 'em coming. I'm going to need those.
