ReplyDeleteWow! Six days behind you and still pressing on! What an inspriration you are for so many of us! May God grant you the strength to finish strong!

Jason:
ReplyDeleteI wanted to post earlier today but a little thing called work got in the way. I want to tip my hat to your crew/family, they are doing an awesome job! And a special tip of the hat to Charlie, for his service to our country and for throwing your butt out on the road this morning. Charlie appears to be in very good physical condition and I think he could take you. Listen to Charlie!
If you are still taking it one day at a time you are doing excellent! I know by this point, at best, I would be down to taking it hour by hour. Considering what you are putting yourself through I doubt the leg is feeling much better but I hope it's not feeling any worse.
And don't lose that watch, I don't have a Garmin and I could use a pacer at Lewis & Clark this year. If I could only keep up with you. Have fun in Springfield!
Roger
Hey Roger-
ReplyDeleteWould love to run with you at Lewis & Clark, but I'm afraid you'll dust me! I know you're fast (you don't fool me!).
Let's chat about it as the date draws nearer. I'm going to have to heal this leg after MO-AR TREK. No telling how long that will take.
But if I'm healthy, you can bet I'm in.
And you're right about Charlie, he's awesome.
Jason
Pua,
ReplyDeleteIf I've learned anything in 6 days of running it's that you can do ANYTHING you really, really want to.
This includes Mt. Everest. If you want it, just go do it. It's not easy, but it is that simple.
I'll support you Pua!!!
