We're heading into some really rural areas today so my internet signal might konk out on me. I'll post as much as I can as Jason makes his way toward Washburn, Missouri.
Fighting obesity in children is the name of the game. Jason Eads is running 300 miles to draw awareness to this epidemic and to support Missouri area Girls On The Run. For more information about Girls on the Run please visit: http://www.girlsontherun.org
Daily posts regarding progress on the run will be posted on this site!

Jason, your altitude is way up there in my book. I stil do not know where his mom and I went wtrong with this country music stuff from my son.
He's your son :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Walter. I think Alex will be 'ok'. I've read that parents actually don't always have as much influence over their children as their close friends do. I think Chenger is to blame!
ReplyDeleteHave to tell you that the girls last night on the way to Dairy Queen made me click the miles because they said from now on they are going to run to Dairy Queen versus drive.
ReplyDeleteOther great comments:
"I have to redefine the word impossible now."
"6 miles just doesn't seem that long any more compared to 311 miles."
And the one that got us laughing was when Laura said, "Yeh, forget using a car. I'm going to roll my suitcase home to St. Louis from now on! You made a great impression!
We will all be thinking about you All DAY TOMORROW. You Go Guy!
